Stream
Listening to songs provides artists with income in the form of royalties and helps them win music shows by earning points for debut or comeback performances.
Properly streaming music also increases artists' income and demonstrates their popularity.
Rocky has participated in composing or arranging various songs, including "별(Star)" with Chawoo, "좋은 하루 되세요 (Have a Good Day)," "찬바람 불 때면 (When the Wind Blows)," "One & Only," "One & Only Instrumental," "don't worry," "our spring," "complete me," "CPR," "S#1,","7 days tension" by Weekly, and more recently "Wanna Be Love" by HAWW.
Royalties
In the music industry, royalties are paid to the owners of the copyrights of songs in order to use them. Earning royalties means earning money.
You can support artists by doing any or all of these things:
Play their solo songs or songs in which they participated by writing, arranging, composing, or producing.
Listen to their songs in playlists instead of the same song on loop.
Different Types of Royalties in Music
Mechanical Royalties | Mechanical royalties are generated through the reproduction and distribution, whether digital or physical, of songs on which the copyright owner has rights. This applies to all music formats, including new and old formats such as vinyl, CD, and cassette, as well as digital downloads and streaming services. For example, record companies pay mechanical royalties to a songwriter every time their song is played on streaming services or whenever a record containing a song written by the artist is sold. |
Performance Royalties | Performance royalties are generated when songs for which the artist holds the copyright are played in public, such as on the radio or TV. Each time the song is played in public, it is considered a performance. Performance royalties are divided into two parts: songwriter royalties and publisher royalties. |
Streaming Royalties | The amount paid to the artist for mechanical royalties varies depending on the platform and the country where the reproduction is made, but in any case, a percentage is paid to the artist for each reproduction of their songs. |

Youtube
What counts as a valid reproduction?
Log in to your account (make sure you are logged in before playing the video):
To avoid having views removed, we advise you to manually search for the MV.
In your search engine, type Rocky or 라키.
Watch the videos related to Rocky that appear on Astro or Fantagio's channel, as well as those that may appear in Topics (usually when the song is not on a specific channel because it is non-audio belonging to the aforementioned channels).
Let the ads run (if they are too long, you can skip them after 30 seconds).
Like the video (it is best to do it after a minute and not immediately).
Comment (comment and interact with other positive or supportive comments): Having many comments helps a video rank higher, but don't do it too much in the same reproduction!
Volume and quality: Having 50% volume and quality no less than 480p is recommended (you can mute the window or tab, or use headphones, use the volume controls of your device if you need complete silence)
Disable autoplay.
Watch the video continuously without pausing or skipping.
Do not repeat the same pattern too much because if YouTube marks you as a bot, the views from your account will be deleted.
Alternate videos: It seems that YouTube counts repeated views in MVs if there is a time gap of at least 20 minutes between them. While you wait to watch the video again, play other videos 2-3 on the same channel and the rest of the videos on different channels (better if they are not related). This interaction will help with performance and prevent YouTube from seeing you as a bot.
Brand Reputation
Why is it important?
Increasing brand awareness is one of the best ways to support an Idol, as they build their careers based on their image. An Idol with high selling power (advertising with this Idol generates more profits) will have more opportunities in advertisements and earn more money. If companies see that an Idol has more clicks and interactions on their posts, articles, and videos, there are more chances of them being offered brand deals and being in the public eye.
